The Jurassic World director takes to Twitter to calm our nerves about Jurassic World.

Colin Trevorrow, the director of 2015’s ‘Jurassic Park‘ sequel, has reassured fans that ‘Jurassic World’ won’t be a reboot.

The American film-maker took to Twitter to answer a concerned dino-fan’s question about the forthcoming film, assuring him that the fourth ‘Jurassic Park’ film wouldn’t be a rehashing of the 1993 original.

He explained his film will pick up the story 22 years after the “horrific events” of the first ‘Jurassic Park’ film which, neatly, will be celebrating its 22nd anniversary when ‘Jurassic World’ is released in 2015.

Trevorrow also clarified that the fourth installment would stay true to the roots of the original film, promising “a new, sci-fi terror adventure”.
