Entertainment Weekly recently counted down the 20 Best Summer Blockbusters of all time (Plus 10 That Didn’t Make the Cut) – and Steven Spielberg’s Jaws came out on top!  Fitting since Jaws pretty much invented the summer blockbuster way back in 1975.  
Oh yeah, some little movie called Star Wars finished up at #2.

Overall, George Lucas and Steven Spielberg are nicely represented, claiming five out of the top ten summer blockbusters.  Here’s a rundown of the rest of the Top 20, along with the ten that didn’t quite make the cut rounding out the #21 – 30 slots:
